My baby girl is officially 2 1/2 today. She is half of five years old! HOLY CRAP! It doesn't seem possible at all. She's talking in long sentences, telling stories, creative, imaginative. The other day she sat on my lap for 45 minutes pretending to be a doctor. She told me my chest wasn't feeling good, so she used her toy corn on the cob, toy grapes, a hairspray cap, and pretended to make me all better. She did this with my eyes, my head, my arms, my belly, and when she ran out of stuff, she started over. I want to get them a doctor kit. She kept telling me "I'm a great doctor!" She can identify numbers 0-5, though for some reason, she usually calls 3 upside down before realizing it's 3. She can identify several letters when she wants to. She knows her colors and all the basic shapes. I think she recognizes a heart resembles an M because when she first sees a heart, she calls it "Emma." We'll be moving on to shapes with more than four sides soon. Apparently Kylee is pretty smart for a 2 1/2 year old!
